Commercial Manager

At Assura, as we continue to grow in our core markets, we are matching this by evolving our corporate structure. We are therefore, expanding our Business Development Team to match and enable this growth and expansion.

The Commercial Manager will support the Head of Business Development in delivering on the growth and expansion plans for Assura.  


 

This is an opportunity for a commercial business development specialist, with a financial mindset to influence the achievement of a successful, sustainable and relationship led business strategy. This is about growing sustainable relationships as well as proactively identifying and securing new opportunities for our property team.

You’ll have experience of developing, securing, and nurturing successful relationships with organisations, ideally those operating in health or social care. This will be from a commercial and relationship management perspective. Due to the nature of our clients, we’d like you to have a grounding in finance and financial due diligence for contracts, though we can help you strengthen these skills.
 
You don’t need to be in the property sector right now or recently, we care more about your skills, commercial and entrepreneurial approach, and your aptitude for developing strategic and sustainable partnerships. Demonstration of knowledge and experience of the health and wellbeing sector would be desirable.

You’ll enjoy researching and exploring new or growth opportunities and you’ll be comfortable with developing new and ongoing relationship without needing to know everything, identifying leads proactively and through ongoing relationship building. With this, we are looking for you to be a strategic thinker and for you to own the opportunity from start to finish, and beyond, as this is not just about generating leads.

You need to be able to work independently and you’ll have the freedom to work in a way that enables you to achieve the outcomes we are looking for, but you will be supported through this.
