Assura’s Healthy Communities Programme

We’re proud to support charities in their work to improve health for local people through our annual funding programme.

Our 2017-18 scheme will fund projects to improve health for people in Warrington; whilst we welcome applications from registered charities of all sizes, this funding will only be allocated to support projects which can demonstrate their impact for health of communities in Warrington. We’re not able to support individuals.

How much?

We’re offering grants of £1,000 – £2,000 to registered charities that can demonstrate how their project will improve health for people in Warrington.

How to apply:

Tell us, in no more than 1,000 words, how much funding you’d like to apply for, why your project is needed, how it will improve health for people in Warrington and how many people it will help. Are you applying for any other funding to support your project? Are other funders already on board? How will you measure your project’s success?

Make sure you include your charity’s name, contact details and charity registration information in your application.

Please note:

We promote all projects receiving our funding and successful applicants will need to support communications activity about the programme during the year. All grant recipients will be required to submit a short report detailing the impact of their funding by 31st March 2018.

Email your application to by 6pm on Friday, 2nd June 2017.

Our charity partnerships:

In the 2016-17 year, we were proud to support Life After Loss in funding a fetal heart monitor for Warrington General Hospital and the charitable foundations of Warrington Wolves and Salford Red Devils.

Assura Give It A Try For Charity

Every year, we challenge businesses to team-up staff members for a fun afternoon of touch rugby at the AJ Bell Stadium, in a bid to raise much-needed funds for the charitable foundations of Warrington Wolves and Salford Reds. Sign up your business for this year’s tournament - it's just £250 per team.
