Charity funding boost for health in Warrington
04 May 2017

We’re launching a new programme to help local health causes make a difference.

Our Healthy Communities Fund is offering grants of £1,000 – £2,000 to registered charities that can demonstrate how their project will improve health for people in Warrington in the coming year.

We’re already supporting charity Life After Loss this year to help fund a ‘cuddle cot’ for Warrington Hospital to make it easier for parents to spend time with their baby after a stillbirth, but now we want to hear from other projects seeking funding this year.

Head of Public Affairs, Claire Rick, says: “We know from GPs using our buildings that some of the health challenges we face have never been greater – and that’s where our fund is aiming to help.

“We look forward to hearing from as many local projects as possible and to working with them over the next 12 months.”

Any charity wanting to apply for a share of this year’s fund should visit https://assuraplc.com/making-a-difference/our-charity-work for more information and apply by Friday, 2nd June 2017.
