Darley Dale practice settles into its new home

A Derbyshire medical centre has opened its doors in a new building.

Darley Dale Medical Practice is now operating from a modern, purpose-built space which will enable the practice to provide additional services to the community including a pharmacy.

With additional space, eight consulting rooms, a waiting room and new training rooms over 7,000 Darley Dale patients are set to benefit from the move.

The project has been was forward funded by ourselves and delivered by GP premises experts MedCentres.

Our Senior Project Manager, Paul Warwick said: “These premises have created new opportunities for patients to be able to access additional services under one roof. It has been exciting to be part of the journey to give GPs the space they need to support their patients.”

Ed Oakley, Lead GP at Darley Dale Medical Centre said “We’re incredibly excited to have moved into our new practice. The facilities are state-of-the-art and will be a brand new space for our patients and staff to enjoy. The wide open space will provide a calming environment for our patients improving their experience.”
