Assura has now merged with PHP in a transformational combination to create a portfolio of critical healthcare infrastructure assets valued at approximately £6 billion. Whilst the two businesses integrate operations Assura customers can continue to log maintenance jobs via the portal and your main contacts at the company remain unchanged.

Assura was delisted from the London and Johannesburg Stock Exchanges in October 2025 and certain sections of the website have not been updated since that date. For further information about PHP, the enlarged Group and the transaction please refer to the PHP website www.phpgroup.co.uk

Making a difference: REITs report
11 Jul 2018

new report on real estate investment trusts (REITs) and their social impact has profiled our work to improve primary care infrastructure.

Grant Thornton’s look at the work of REITs looks at investment in GP surgery buildings as an example of how REITs are helping to bridge the gap between the NHS capital available, and the need for more modern premises for primary care.

Our CFO, Jayne Cottam, says: “We prefer to build larger assets that provide a community support hub for wider healthcare, not just a GP centre…They provide services in the community rather than at hospitals, which is more accessible for people and supports the NHS’ goal of building capacity closer to home.”
