Have a look inside our new development in Portsmouth which held an opening event earlier this month, with patients, contractors and the practice staff all in attendance celebrating the ‘official’ opening of their new building.
The new building opened to patients 9 months ago, following a sharp search to relocate following receipt of notice to leave their former premises.
Stephanie Murray, Practice Manager for Uni-City Medical Centre, said: “The new project was imperative to our service continuing for the patients of Portsmouth. We can provide more services to our patients, from a much better working environment for our staff. It was lovely to be able to celebrate the opening earlier this month with people who have worked so hard to make this project happen.”
The project has provided the community with a new, 950 sqm medical centre within a centrally located, former retail shop in Portsmouth’s main high street.
Alastair Barlow, our Development Manager said: “We are delighted to see this development reach completion. This new Primary Care centre was desperately needed for both the practice and patients, and it has taken a lot of hard work from everyone involved during challenging circumstances to deliver a brand-new centre that is fit for the future, and will enable the practice to provide a better quality of care to its patients.”
