Our new development in Timperley for Park Medical Practice will be opening the doors to their new medical centre where more than 6000 patients can benefit from an onsite pharmacy and enhanced disability access.
The modern location – which features Timperley Library on the building’s first floor - will also provide the GP practice’s staff and patients with additional clinical rooms, plus onsite parking.
Dr Christina Wilson, GP Partner at Park Medical Practice, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming patients to our new home. With double the space and state-of-the-art facilities we will be able to continue to provide first-class care for our patients in a modern venue and also look to the future.”
The practice’s 424 sq.m ground floor location is part of Trafford Housing Trust’s £7m mixed-use development.
Our project manager, Martin Dawson said: “We are delighted to see that the practice is ready to welcome patients to their new medical centre. The facility will be a major asset for the provision of primary care in the area for years to come and we are really proud to have been involved with this brilliant project.”
Park Medical Practice, in Park Road, will close to patients at 1pm on Friday, November 5 ahead of the opening at the Stockport Road location on Monday, November 8.
Patients requiring medical advice when the practices are closed are asked to ring 111, alternatively they can call the practice on 0161 973 3485 where they will be triaged by a clinician.
