The building work for the major enhancement of our Altrincham head office reached an exciting milestone this March. Part of the roof was entirely removed and replaced with a temporary sliding roof to facilitate construction of a timber roof extension and terrace event space.

To mark the occasion, the Assura team and key members of construction team came together to celebrate at a topping out ceremony on March 31st, with representatives from City Build, Hawkins Brown, Civic Engineers, Hybrid Structures, Rihbell, ESC and Christopher Dee.

The new roof terrace is just one of the many improvements being made to our office space which aim to improve both employee wellbeing and the sustainability of our building. Putting our Net Zero Carbon Design Guide into action, the full project will see replacement windows, improved insulation to the building fabric and enhanced controls to building services to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy usage.

Work began in late 2024 and completion is expected in early 2026. For further information on the retrofit, visit: assurabarringtonroad.com
