Work moving along on new primary care centre in South Woodham Ferrers
29 Nov 2018

20,000 patients in South Woodham Ferrers will soon see their GP in a state-of-the-art new primary care centre – as work moves along at the site.

Three GP practices will operate from the new centre on Burnham Road, which is under construction next to a new supermarket. Our development will provide 22 consulting rooms, four treatment and therapy rooms and parking for patients and staff.

In addition to the GP practice space, the building includes areas for community healthcare services including community nursing, stroke rehabilitation, physiotherapy, specialist services for children and people with long term conditions, healthy lifestyles services for children and people with long term conditions, healthy lifestyle services (such as stop smoking services) and sexual health services.

Our head of development, Simon Gould, says: “This is a building which will bring together such a range of health services under one roof - we can’t wait to see the first patients stepping through the doors.”

The build is scheduled to complete next year.
