Work set to commence on Sudbury Health Centre
08 Apr 2013

Work is due to commence shortly on the Sudbury Community Health Facility.

The new integrated health centre on Church Field Road will see the services currently provided by Walnuttree Hospital, Acton Lane Clinic, St Leonard’s and Siam GP practice consolidated under one roof. The project will incorporate a range of out-patient, diagnostic and therapy services and will be one of the largest of its type in the East of England.

The new building has been designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent rating and features a green roof and on-site renewable energy sources. The 3,315 square meter project will add to Assura Group’s existing portfolio in Suffolk, joining St Clements Surgery in Haverhill and Andaman Surgery in Lowestoft.
